The Psalms Series

This is an on-going project of meditations around a book of spiritual laments and songs. It is not an attempt to illustrate but rather a visual response.

The words of the Psalmist often begin in this place of questioning...where are you God? My enemy is all around me, the ones I loved have betrayed me, I feel caught. It is the journey of one whose life is often raw and unrelenting.

As he moves through it, he is reminded of where his strength lies–not in the chaos all around but in the deep peace within. Here he connects with his Creator, finding what is true for him and where his meaning lies.
